This has been kinda fun to watch and I do appreciate the concern for my physical and mental health, but there are a few things I should probably mention at this point. This is George. He is the resident show gator at a wildlife park, and gets three squares a day, 365 days a year, in exchange for not eating the tourists, even the photographers. (We have too much cholesterol.) He was lying in the only patch of sun for a hundred yards in any direction; I was lying (freezing body parts off) in the shade of a big patch of buffalo grass a good distance away. There was an inlet between us full of water with frost ice on top of it. (I was also about two steps from my truck.) I know what gatorbait is. It looks kinda like this: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/rcmckee/2011PAW/bait7109.jpg.html http://snipurl.com/24ipns That ain't me. R.
