Yeah, I'm one of those early birds too. One less thing to worry about. This last time in Lilongwe was a little over-kill though. My flight left at 23:50. I was travelling from about 5 hours away (by car). I didn't want the driver to have to drive in the dark (along the border to Mozambique for about an hour ... the war is over, but you never know) so I got to the airport at 6pm. The last scheduled flight before mine left at around 4 pm. At 6 pm I was the only passenger in the whole airport. A "diner" closed about 30 minutes after I got there. They left the lights on so I wouldn't have to sit alone in the dark. There was one other person in the whole airport, a policeman. I rather enjoyed his company. Daniel
