I was at WPPI (wedding/portrait photography convention) in Vegas and had a chance to speak to the Fuji reps. So I did not know this but Kodak partially owned the patent on Polaroid P/N film so that is why Fuji could not make a version of it for their instant films. And from what the rep said Fuji instant film will be around for a long time as many colleges, medical and other companies still order huge supplies of the film types. Great to know. Also I got to try out the Fuji X100. Much smaller camera than I thought. Controls seem easy enough to use. I'm not a fan of EVF but the optical VF is nice and bright. The layout inside the VF is a throwback to the days of the Electros and Hi-Matic cameras. Fuji should do well with this camera. The leaf shutter synchs up to 1/4000th sec.
