I'm having cataract surgery a week from Tuesday, and using the viewfinder has become difficult. BUT... I have been scanning old photographs. I've got a 40th high school reunion coming up--Lexington High School in Massachusetts, class of 1971. The folks running the reunion asked if anyone had photos--yeah, I've got photos. So here is a sampling of stuff from the old days, mostly around 1971, with a few earlier or later. Mostly Tri-X, Plus-X and Kodachrome 25 (I'd forgotten how *contrasty* that film was!). Taken with an M2 and 50 DR Summicron or a 90 "fat" Tele-Elmarit. If I'm not in the picture, I took it. If I'm in the picture, I probably set it up and handed the camera to a friend. There are also a couple of photos from 1969 taken with an old Kodak box Brownie. I wrote about him for Spokane Magazine (Washington State), and we become friends. <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/pklein/MyYouth/HansM-PeterK-82-w.JPG.html> Hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/pklein/MyYouth/41PeterMtWhiteface-w.JPG.html> <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/pklein/MyYouth/02PeterMtFlume-w.JPG.html> Enjoy, and remember, you were once young and over-earnest, too! :-) --Peter
