Subject: [Leica] feeder bird of a different sort

I looked out towards our bird feeder on this very snowy central
Vermont morning to see this owl perched low in a locust tree. I got a
few shots through a window before I tried slowly opening it for a
better look- but it wanted none of that and flew off. We have had them
from time to time around the house, sometimes in daylight as this
species is known to be active during the day. We had snow, then sleet
then back to snow for about 24 hours totaling about 10" in all. The
skiing was pretty good despite the bit of sleet.
