The new Republican Legislature and Gov. (Jindal} cut income taxes. My family share came to less than $60 per month back in my pocket. In less than a year, our state started hitting deficit numbers, and we're at our second fiscal year with major budget cuts. Yet they refuse to seek new revenue. Wednesday, I was in a High-end shopping center in Baton Rouge, and I could barely find a parking spot. If they would vote one penny sales tax, they could solve this mess. If you drive from here to Shreveport, you'll see fifty oil drilling rigs at work, but they are not being taxed as they drill. The production companies get a free ride. There's lots of money out there. lots and lots. Regards, Sonny http://sonc.com/look/ Natchitoches, Louisiana USA
