After a week that was really tough- I did go out with the camera. This time I had fun for a particular reason. A number of years ago when I was commuting to London bi -weekly I used to spend my Saturdays on Portobello Road. This is where they have a weekly huge flea market, many bocks long. At No. 77, Portobello Road was a small shop crammed with used camera equipment run by a gentleman named Brian Bedford. I went in one day and found a Nikkor f2.8 prime 135mm lens for 75 GBP. I bought the lens and used it on my F2. The results were spectacular, sharpness and color rendition wise. As with all my film equipment- after very little use, the lens went on the shelf. The other day I purchased an adapter for my G1 that allowed me to use the lens again. I will be using it now in Lieu of my 135mm f.4.5 Hektor (which I also bought there for 50 GBP), and my 100mm f2 Canon (Leica Thread). I enclose two examples: Bests: Roger http://v-images.smugmug.com/People/G1-WITH-NIKON/16361774_ZZfso#1230169172_BULfv-L-LB http://v-images.smugmug.com/People/G1-WITH-NIKON/16361774_ZZfso#1230160728_7ueTX-L-LB
