Just as a thought experiment: how can a camera be unsharp?
- the sensor is not parallel to the virtual film plane
- the sensor is not on the virtual film plane
- the sensor glass is messing up the light somehow
- the rangefinder is off, but then fiddling with it will produce some sharp
photos.
Any other possibilities? Corrupted firmware?
Have you tried shooting wide open on a slanted ruler on the ground? If
anything is in focus, it will show?
