You think this is different  from the S2?

I am sure they are planning on making $$$ on the lenses.....not the
bodies.....

But it would have been the same for a 35mm sized sensor....

I never expected the Leica Name to compete with Nikon or Canon or Sony.....
But they have brand loyalty like nobody else.... ( not newbies, us old
f at rts)

An R mount on the front, new AF lenses, and it would have been a contender
for a lot of us....

Enough.... gotta take my HBM.

It would have been a winner for us few diehards, but a dead duck in the
shark-infested waters of the photographic market.

Demand and sales revenues would never have exceeded production, development,
labour and marketing costs in a month of Sundays.
