It's 720p AVHC lite (whatever that means) but it's very usable. The electronic viewfinder and the stabilized lens make for a much better image than the little video cameras produce. I've played around by mounting my noctilux on the GF-1 to get some low-light very shallow depth of field videos that have a real atmosphere to them. This won't replace one of the new Nikon or Canon SLRs for video, but for the purpose of having both a still and a video camera with you at all times it's very very good. I know Bob (and others) all really like the 14-45 zoom lens. Mine is not so sharp. Bob thinks I might have the wrong stabilization settings. Or I could have a bad lens. Who knows? Anyway, the GF-1 is a very nice little camera and it goes with me almost everywhere. The gallery shots I did the other day were made with it and the little pancake lens. I wish I had a bigger zoom. Hmmmm and they say size doesn't matter! :-) Adam On Apr 1, 2011, at 7:50 AM, charcot wrote: > Olympus vs. Lumix , which bodies do people use and like. EVF have they > gotten any better.
