Back when I was still doing my own developing and printing, and before I started color work, I made the transition from Tri-X to the Ilford chromogenic film. As long as one avoided under-exposure (in fact, one could overexpose the hell out of it) there was the most wonderful resolution and tonal range. Looking at your pictures reminded me of that film.
