The R5 doesn't help much - the viewfinder on the R8/9/DMR is brighter, bigger and snaps into focus better - but yes, focusing that thing is hard. These: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/freakscene/Rachel/ were shot with a Nikon 85/1.4 and a Leica 80/1.4 (about half and half - with an Re for the Leica and an FA and an F100 for the Nikkor). But there are plenty of frames on the 5 or so rolls I shot of Rachel that day where the focus isn't right. I used f1.4 because we were in my old house using window light because it was 5C and raining outside. Sometimes you use what you have, and get what you get. Marty
