I've never tried a Nocti, I love the fine focusing of pictures I've saw from Steve, Rei and others, as well the creamy effect, and I usually discarded it from my thaughts thinking that it would be very difficult to focus, I use the Lux 75, it is not easy properly focus at 1.4 but not impossible.
