Obviously artists with a strong vision can and will create soulful photographs using either black and white or color; according to their vision. Black and white will not add soul to a weak photograph (nor will color). As has been pointed out the vast majority of photographs sitting in shoe boxes, on cards, disks, thumb and hard drives are color photographs.
