Usually I hold it like a football or a newborn.  The neck strap is OK bur
not easy to manage if your taking photos every couple minutes so I usually
take it off.  When I put it back on I have to be careful it is fully
attached.  Now I'm carrying it around in a small Benser  case I have for my
M bodies.  Fits body with 80mm and 150 with hoods not attached small light
meter and film.
