Or during dark. A few blocks from me its the 24 hour Big Nick's Pizza & Burger Joint. A New York institution. The door on the left you go in and its Pizza. The left its Burger. But It's really the same place and one of the more graphically interesting places I've ever hung out in. its filled on the walls with small signs and Glossys of actors. And the menu is page after page after page you can get also lost in the typography and forget to be thinking about what you might order. There is a key scene in Midnight Cowboy in which it was either Viva or Ultra Violet had Dustin Hoffman and John Voight a ticket to an Andy Warhol party which they later attend and steal all the food they can pocket. They watt all the way in the back against the back wall. Its interesting to be sat in that very seat at this point. Its 1969 all over again. You can see as you slide from left to right if you hit the enlarge button in the image you can get either ostridge or buffalo burgers. But no tofu versions of these. But plenty of veggie options for me. But in general they have everything. And they have it at 4:30 in the morning. My kind of place. But if you sit outside its not fresh air. Its cigarette smoke. So you sit inside. When the smokers don't own the sidewalks I will be a happy guy. This shot I decided to have been a seamless stitch I guess. So I'm getting wide with a tele. Its always what you don't think. And I didn't have to stand in the middle of Broadway to do it. -------------------- Mark William Rabiner
