My low end setting is 320. I don't go lower than that. 320 on my D700 is low
res. It goes to 100 or 200 but I don't go there. I have it set auto iso so
it goes from 320 to 6400. So in bright sunlight it would be shooting at 320
even if  it was at f22 or lower. I think the iso does lower to not over
expose in case it has to.
