That's proably the case in whatever your first language is. In American English which I regret is my only and first language which I've been speaking and writing for most of sixty years it means "illustration". It' s as vague as you can get. As in not words but a graphic. A plate. Pie chart. Line drawing. Ikon. Clip art. Electron microscope scan. Daguerreotype halftone. -------------------- Mark William Rabiner > From: Nathan Wajsman <photo at frozenlight.eu> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Wed, 27 Apr 2011 22:45:28 +0200 > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] Shipping info on Leica Compendium > > As much as I like Erwin, I prefer books with photographs rather than books > with pictures of equipment. > > Nathan Wajsman > Alicante, Spain > http://www.frozenlight.eu > http://www.greatpix.eu > http://www.nathanfoto.com > PICTURE OF THE WEEK: http://www.fotocycle.dk/paws > Blog: http://www.fotocycle.dk/blog > > YNWA > > > > > > > > On Apr 27, 2011, at 10:41 PM, Mark Rabiner wrote: > >> Started shipping April 26.
