However the most important? >>> Which "leaders" address these questions? Seriously? <<<<<<< Hi George, jeesh now that's a toughie! I suppose some of them get together and talk about it? Some do something about it? What? I suppose if it happens to be a the Leader of a democtratic country they do enough to garner some changes, enough to maybe get some votes? If it isn't a democracy and they don't give a hoop? Well then I guess they don't? Like I said in the first post.... this can become a very heavy topic, quite probably far too heavy for an internet discussion given the topic? So lets add this little side note about a Leica interview. :-) Seems I'm part way through one. Answered the first questions and sent a bunch of photographs. Now waiting to complete the interview. Time will tell, so we'll give you a heads-up shortly. :-) There now, that's much easier to discuss. :-) So let's leave the planet and people to sort it out one of these days on their own. cheers, ted " <imagist3 at mac.com> To: "Leica Users Group" <lug at leica-users.org> Sent: Friday, April 29, 2011 3:23 PM Subject: Re: [Leica] WAS:::: Luggers in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee NOW: POPULATION -- POLLUTION > > On Apr 29, 2011, at 4:59 PM, tedgrant at shaw.ca wrote: > >> save the planet and people? > > The planet doesn't need saving. > It will do what ever it needs to do > according to the > chemical, biological and physical laws of the universe. > > Can "people" live (coexist) on this planet? > Under what conditions? > In what numbers? > Without poisoning the water, air, and soil? > Without poking holes in the ozone layer? > Without affecting the climate? > > Can "people" nurture the planet's ecosystem? > Where? > How? > > Which "leaders" address these questions? > Seriously? > > Regards, > George Lottermoser > george at imagist.com > http://www.imagist.com > http://www.imagist.com/blog > http://www.linkedin.com/in/imagist > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
