yes, for sure Jay ...

also people who tend "to make light of" their inherent differences, play 
them up, or play them down are just trying to minimize the stigma, and 
say... see, I'm fine, what do I care...?

It doesn't mean, they don't have sensitive feelings,
It is because they do have sensitive feelings...
