Subject: [Leica] Help me, my ball is stuck!

I next tried heating the jar in water with the ball above water level,  
and olive oil sealing the jar lid and ball.  No avail.  So, Maria  
ended up with a freed ball, but she'll never see her (now shattered)  
jar again.  I hope she doesn't notice it's gone!

Cheers for the suggestions!  Trivia for us, but cutely sad for a  
little one!
