Phil's comments regrding the unforgiving nature of the sensor are spot on of course. I do suggest that you do some critical and careful testing of your Tele Elmar too. If you can't find a 1.4x to try out, drop me a line. For postage costs I'll loan you mine and you can give it a good workout to see if the design suits you at all.
