Rue Mouffetard - especially on a weekend morning when the market is on Pont des Arts - just take a seat on a bench and watch the world go by Jardin du Palais Royale - perhaps my favourite spot in Paris Eiffel tower - a cliche, but worth it as the views (particularly from the second stage) are wonderful Maison de la photographie - http://www.mep-fr.org/us/actu_1.htm If you like impressionist Musee Marmattan - http://www.marmottan.com/index2010_uk.asp - the paintings in the basement will take your breath away That's just off the top of my head, I'm sure I could think of another dozen locations without any problem.
