Subject: [Leica] IMG: sculpting detail - Tioga Pass

There are some interesting artifacts left behind on the granite walls
alongside the road climbing Tioga Pass where they made the drill holes to
blast away the rock.

Here are two takes on the same piece of granite.

Leica M8, 50mm Sumicron, ISO 160

Both images were processed in Lightroom.

I think the Leica image, for sure, is over-sharpened. I have not grokked the
fullness of sharpening in Lightroom and will probably do it in Photoshop for
the time being.

Both were converted from color into monochrome in Lightroom.

Your thoughts/critique are most welcome.
