The B&W was less sharp than the color, the only difference was the resolution, color was 150 pixel/inch & the B&W 240 from the 2.1 MB jpeg size. Or maybe I played around with the sliders too much. I liked the color one better as the oof colors show up better. While talking to her, I saw this composition of the background windows & white doorframe directing my attention to her face & CLICK. Besides having old eyes, it is hard to focus with fast manual lenses wide open on digital bodies. My K10 had a different screen but I may have to get a Katzeye for it. The focus assist works fairly well but absolute sharpness a hit or miss with it. I probably should use f1.4 instead of wide open. Or use my LX with film. I'm still learning this lens as only have it about a year. The woman I shot was happy with it, she's also a photographer & darkroom printer, and sometimes, that's all that counts. Mistakes & all.
