By the way, in fact you do not lose any of your other menu settings with upgrading despite the conservative warning from Leica Camera. That has been the case for several generations of firmware. I don't know about any custom profiles. Only a few momets to cherack through your menus after of course. The new warning to avoid the latest Sandisk SDHC cards is interesting. I have had no problems with them (nor any previous Sandisk cards). The mumber of previously reported problems was actually very low but nevertheless prompted this.
