I am with Nathan on this, CS3 and Lightroom for me too.

LR provides editing tools which are far easier to grasp from a
photographer's standpoint, and adds a very flexible cataloguing tool
(which does not impose its will on any preference you may for where
the image files are stored - it just finds them wherever they may be).
Lens correction tools included. And there is now an add-on for layers.
