Love my SL, wonderful camera (used MR-9 battery adapter for long time, no problems) Date: Sun, 4 Dec 2011 16:20:10 +0100 From: douglas.sharp at gmx.de To: lug at leica-users.org Subject: Re: [Leica] Would you buy a Leicaflex SL2 these days? They are built like a tank and have a wonderfully bright focusing screen The only thing that speaks against one is the metering battery. Either get the electronics adjusted for the replacement battery for the Mercury cell it needs, use a Wein cell or buy an MR9 adapter. I have an SL2, and SL2 "50-Jahre"and an SL2 Mot, and I love 'em all to bits. The weight, sound and feel of an SL2 Mot with its motor is an experience in itself.:-) Cheers Douglas On 04.12.2011 15:28, Vick Ko wrote: > Would you buy a Leicaflex SL2 these days? > > As a neat camera to use? > > As a friend to the Nikon F's on the shelf? > > Vick > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for > more information > _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
