Different societies have very different outlooks, particularly on food. I have always been faintly bemused by people's admiration, almost worship, of tigers. Lions. eagles etc. whilst feeling distaste at what they do. I am a great lover of the natural world and would never knowingly miss a nature programme on TV. The diversity of the wildlife on Earth is a source of great joy to me, particularly in the Oceans. I never forget how ruthless it all is though. I think the most ruthlessly vicious hunters I have watched are the Orcas. Who wrote nature is red in tooth and claw?
