Subject: [Leica] IMG: Northern River Otter

Sunday morning I scouted a location where a friend mentioned that he'd seen
a very cooperative Cooper's Hawk. I didn't find the hawk, but I believe
what I did find more than makes up for not seeing the hawk: a pair of
Northern River Otters. Judging from the numerous tracks, slides and trails,
the abundant scat and many meal remnants on the bank of the river I'm 99%
sure I found a den site.

By the time I found the otters it was mid-morning and the lighting was
tricky to work with so I believe that with patience and an earlier start I
can do better than this photo, but I'm not complaining :)

Technical stuff: R8/DMR, 280mm f/4 APO-Telyt-R + 1.4x APO-Extender-R,
shouldeer stock & monopod. All comments welcome.
