As others have mentioned: green foliage and specific other "natural" colors 
can also render oddly due to the hyper IR sensitivity - in my experience.

I found the problem frustrating because of never really knowing "when" it 
may adversely affect a photograph; making post processing time consuming and 
often sub par.

With the filters on the lenses - no problems - no frustration - ever.
Just fine digital files - easy work with - great color - no compromises.
