Subject: [Leica] Coastal Redwood

This is of interest only for those who have not visited Northern 
California. The coastal redwood has a spectacular enlargement of its 
trunk at ground level. This one is just a half-mile from my house.

The giant sequoia is even more spectacular, but you have to go into 
the mountain country to see them.
