Often taken as a sign of non-inclusive nationalism (i.e. white
supremism/racism) in the UK.... I think this came up on the list a few
months back (Rugby World Cup time?)?

Why on Earth would it be illegal to display your country's flag? The
government here doesn?t care if we do or don't. Making people display it
would be something you'd expect an unfree government to do, but I cannot
imagine any government telling people not to display their own flag. Weird!
