All of a sudden we're getting a whole bunch of RF-like large sensor cameras that are opening all kinds of doors for those of us who still have a bunch of Leica lenses sitting in a drawer and just refuse to spend $7K on an M9 body. First the X-100,* then the NEX's, now the XPRO, and soon the Leica "X-???" mirrorless supposedly coming in the Fall. There's too much happening too fast. Personally, I'm sticking with my micro-4/3rds stuff--just got a GX-1, in fact--and will wait and see what happens at Photokina. I just did a wedding book for my nephew and his new bride. The 12" X 20" wraparound cover shot of the bride's bouquet was taken with my GF-1 and 25mm Summilux at f2.0 and ISO 400. It is tack sharp at that size. For the moment, anyway, that's all I need but am still very much looking forward to what Leica comes up with this Fall. The GX-1 is a little rocket, BTW. Regards, Dick *I know, no interchangeable lenses, but the first of the breed.
