Much because of where the hair line focus landed. I if you see the H tag around his neck that seems to be the point I nailed in focus at f 1.4 with this remarkable 28mm lens. So the kitty being a kitty is very aware that I am there. But it chose at that moment to be not looking directly at me. I didn't take it personally. Or I do. Such an eye contact thing has meaning we mere humans can never hope to understand. I knew it was lonely and didn't mind the company. But normally I go for the eye contact to draw you in the eyes being the window to the soul. -- Mark R. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lugalrabs/winterdays/ > From: Jim Nichols <jhnichols at lighttube.net> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Thu, 5 Jan 2012 15:43:36 -0600 > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] Kitty in Shop Window Upper west side 28.0 mm f/1.4 > Nikkor > > Nice sharp image when viewed large, but the cat seems to be ignoring you. > > Jim Nichols > Tullahoma, TN USA > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Mark Rabiner" <mark at rabinergroup.com> > To: "Leica Users Group" <lug at leica-users.org> > Sent: Thursday, January 05, 2012 3:40 PM > Subject: [Leica] Kitty in Shop Window Upper west side 28.0 mm f/1.4 Nikkor > > >> Kitty in Shop Window Upper west side 28.0 mm f/1.4 Nikkor >> http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lugalrabs/winterdays/110105_211528.jpg.html >> or >> http://tinyurl.com/7e7hpvj >> Wide open at f 1.4 >> Cropped to 1 over 2. >> Shot one year ago today. >> >> -- >> Mark R. >> http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lugalrabs/winterdays/ >> >> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Leica Users Group. >> See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information >> >> > > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
