It should expand into a folder called m9infmac containing the app M9info and
a readme.txt file.
I have just upgraded my 10.6 version from 0.1 to current 0.61 and done a new
install on 10.7 with no issues - you did download from
http://www.soens.de/swpage/swpage/m9infoe.html ?

I downloaded the M9 Macintosh version, expanded the .zip file, got a
thing called "My Application". When I either drag a DNG onto it, or
launch it, go to "Open" in the File menu and navigate to that same
DNG, all I get is a window which says "SHUTTER :not available" and
there appears in red three copies of "NO Preview Picture". At the
bottom, that window says Version 0.15 (C) 2007 W. Sons
www.soens.de?

>Just drag a DNG file over it, I think it is only for M9s and there is an

>You can download a free program called M9info which can glean the true
>shutter actuation count from the camera metadata embedded in each
>photograph. Have the seller send you a raw DNG file then by checking in
>M9info you could tell what the shot count is.
