The operative word.... should.....
Since the strobes ( for all I know) may be old, some higher flash voltage
may be available on the flash cord.
Hooking up 600V to the flash contact of an M9 would surely be a once in a
lifetime error.
Use the remote strobe triggers..... save yourself $7K.

But a $7000 camera should be able to cope with strobes.
