And for those that just can't wait, and MUST HAVE a faster than F1.4 50 mm lens, and refuse to raid their 401K, call up Stephen Gandy and order yourself a 50 F1.1 Nokton.... and save 91% of the price of the Nocti..... 91% is a LOT to save...... OTOH it IS only 2/3 of a stop faster than the 50 Summilux.... at roughly half the cost of a used one..... Oligarch marketing is sure not fun for the rest of us...... They might well wait a bit to see how expensive it is to make as an actual production item.
