I use Edwal LFN.

Distilled water plus 1-2 drop of LFN per quart....  If I have alcohol
sitting around ( Isopropyl ( rubbing), I throw in a few ounces if it is damp
outside.  
A QUICK soak.. like 15 seconds is sufficient.... without the reel....
Pull out of the water smoothly 
Hang.

No fingers, no sponges, no rags touch my film.
