Not all the upstraps have quick releases, which I don't recommend, asthough they are trustworthy. I took my D3 all over italy with the one with the QR, and it never slipped, and the QR's held like glue. There is a small Upstrap that is called a Rangefinder model, which I got and used with my Xpan, and it is smaller and works great. It isn't very often that there are products that operate like promised so well. Your camera will never fall from your shoulder. -----Original Message----- From: Frank Filippone Sent: Thursday, February 16, 2012 9:38 PM To: 'Leica Users Group' Subject: Re: [Leica] M camera straps I use the Domke strap and very happy with it. There are 2 models.. one with quick releases... I don't use that one.... don't trust them. Cost about $18 Frank Filippone Red735i at earthlink.net The one that coens with M cameras is pretty good, but it doesn't hold a candle to the upstrap. Best camera strap ever. I learned from Tina.
