Another shortcoming of the UpStraps is that they wear out! It's a
consequence of using that soft grippy rubber -- the little "nubs" wear away
over time, unlike any other strap pads.

Small price to pay for the superb security the strap offers, but this is not
a strap to just buy and forget for 20 years.

I've gone through a couple already...
