[Leica] Advise or impressions on panoramic cameras / photography?

I use an Xpan and love it, but it has 'limitations'. Scanning film is a
bit hard and the flat bed scanners are best suited. I prefer taking the
images into the darkroom; the limitation here being 'time'.
