It was Maitani who figured out that if your format was only 24x36mm what's the point of your camera body weighing more than a twin lens Rolleiflex? And caught the entire camera industry with its pants down. Now ironically last week they bring the OM body is back in digital ... With a puny 4/3's sensor in it. Yoshihisa Maitani is turning over in his grave. Or laughing. Probalby Both. The Pentax Pentax ME was a tad smaller than an Om-1. Seemingly exactly the size of a Barnack! But none ever fell from the sky near me so I could shoot with it. I was praying to the wrong photo god. -- Mark R. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lugalrabs/winterdays/ > From: Alan Magayne-Roshak <amr3 at uwm.edu> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Sun, 4 Mar 2012 21:49:35 -0600 (CST) > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] What if digital hadn't come along? > > On Sat, 3 Mar 2012 James Laird <digiratidoc at gmail.com>wrote: > >> Alan, > >> Ever try the F100?
