In Nikonian its "CRC". That is short for the Nikonian term: close range correction. A Canonite would see "Float" In Leicaneese it's "floating element". Leica has made no attempt to acronyminate the floating element concept. Or they are treading water on the subject. According to my on line translator FLOATING ELEMENT: French: ?l?ment flottant Icelandic: flj?tandi ??ttur (they make great glass, but it melts in the summer) Russian: ????????? ??????? Spanish: elemento flotante Swedish: flytelementet Finnish: kelluva elementti (notice its not even close to Swedish!?) Yiddish: ????????? ??????? (notice its not even close to Finnish!?) -- Mark R. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lugalrabs/winterdays/ > From: John McMaster <john at mcmaster.co.nz> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Wed, 7 Mar 2012 22:11:05 +0000 > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: [Leica] Probably a silly question.... > > Is anybody looking to buy a brand new 35mm Summilux-M FLE?
