Tina I recently borrowed a Nikon 8000 scanner to scan a couple of rolls of
120. I took the opportunity to batch scan 1300 or so slides from
1970's/80's.
Any way I ended up using the Nikon scan software despite how quirky it is.
There's a workaround I mentioned asome days back to make it run on Windows
7 64bit since Nikon don't support anything after Vista.
I found the ROC (Restoration Of Color) function to work very well once I
established the amount. So well that it would 'fix' sunsets! But it was an
absolute boon for all of the very faded to browns Fujichrome.
Unsurprisingly Kodachromes were in much better conditon but ROC worked fine
there too.

Cheers,
Geoff
