Lenovo makes a pretty good laptop.? The Thinkpads are still used by
IBM employees, even though IBM has only a tiny minority stake in the
company now.
They maintain an R&D facilty at Morrisville, North Carolina, where
IBM's shop was. I don't think they still assemble machines there.
