Negatives are: - 1.5x crop. Not a big deal. Just use the (most likely) excellent Fuji lens - size - they really want to lure Leicaphile in. The size is almost exactly the same as the M9, which makes it a non-starter for me. If I get something to complement my M9, then it should probably be smaller... - focus - there are persistent reports about the X10 and this camera that they have focusing problems at times. I am waiting for my XPan-PRO-D :-) On Tue, Mar 20, 2012 at 1:18 PM, Jim Nichols <jhnichols at lighttube.net>wrote: > Philippe said, > > "OTT I usually listen to music with my eyes half closed, so the > musician's fingers are no problem for me, at least." > > But you have to have attempted to master the instrument in order to really > appreciate what they can do with it. > > > Jim Nichols > Tullahoma, TN USA > ----- Original Message ----- From: "philippe.amard" <philippe.amard at > sfr.fr > > > > To: "Leica Users Group" <lug at leica-users.org> > Sent: Tuesday, March 20, 2012 3:10 PM > > Subject: Re: [Leica] Fuji X-Pro1 > > > Mark, it might be a new way of collecting light - diagonals rather than >> horizontal ? remember when you shot TV screens at high speeds? >> >> Reviewer says: >> "With the X-Pro 1, Fuji have randomised the bayer pattern to avoid moire >> and aliasing and therefore have been able to remove the anti- aliasing >> filter for higher resolving power.
