I have to buy the camera first? I sure as hell hope its not going to be better an M9! Those poor people who used premium materials design and manufacturing techniques who thought they had a premium produced outdone but a company making a consumer grade relatively cheap product? Poor company! Oh did you say that company has been making quality premium camera for 87 years? And its name was "Leica"? I just don't feel like Leica needs to defend itself against cameras which were never meant to compete with it in the first place. By the way I'm not attacking cameras. I'm attacking the made set which puts consumer cameras and premium cameras in the same category. There is folks I hate to break it to you gently such a thing as a quality product. The reason why some things cost more is not marketing. The value of the deutschmark. The price reflects materials and production tolerances. Quality control. -- Mark Rabiner http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lugalrabs/springdays/ > From: Lottermoser George <imagist3 at mac.com> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Fri, 30 Mar 2012 14:22:11 -0500 > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] Fwd: 60mm Macro on Fuji X Pro 1 > > > On Mar 30, 2012, at 1:32 PM, Mark Rabiner wrote: > >> Yes next sentence which you snipped as that I was confusing it with the >> Sony >> NEX 7. > > Which has magnesium alloy construction > (which, I believe, your D700 also uses for its body construction) > not "cheap plastic" > > Regards, > George Lottermoser > george at imagist.com > http://www.imagist.com > http://www.imagist.com/blog > http://www.linkedin.com/in/imagist > > > > > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
