In this case my dream B&W M10 would be a full manual, full mechanical (as much as possible) M4-P (I'm omitting the meter to allow space for the sensor and the electronics.) No LCD screen to take up that extra 3mm in back. Nothing to scratch. No buttons to hit with a shirt button, zipper or my waist, causing the camera to go into the SET mode or even set itself to SNAPSHOT mode, causing me to lose a shot or killing my battery without me noticing it. Hell, I could even put in a Neopan 1600 setting while I'm at it I guess. Yet another position on the switch under the bottom plate. No jpeg, only RAW, of course. It'll have to be able to handle the 21mm Super Angulon and the DR Summicron at the very least. If it's a black and white camera, no 6-bit coded flange needed because I like the way my uncoded 21mm SA files look after just a small amount of work in my RAW converter. It's B&W, there will be no red edges. Last year I actually asked Leica if they could remove the M9 self timer LED as well as the display inside the VF and they said "NO." They will remove the 135mm framelines (or any other set) for almost $400USD.
