I have been considering an aftermarket view screen, but have been put off by the comments on changing the metering. I am glad someone on the list is actually using a different screen. What screen do you have? How serious is the metering issue? Is it easy to replace the screen? It does not look like it is set up to be a home done job like some cameras. It makes a large difference in brightness and precision with the microprism collar and split image. If you were brought up on 1980's SLRs the world is right again.
